Artist statement

I make photographs, to capture the beauty of the real world which I then merge with ideas in my head to create a piece that expresses emotional themes. The photos are edited to make pieces look surreal, as I hit upon multiple themes that can be seen throughout pop culture and media. As of now I’m taking a dark tone to my works which creates a lingering feeling of uneasiness. With this I create works that are touchingly beautiful, and painfully attractive which hit on deep emotional topics.
